EMPLOYMENT MIXER / HAPPY HOUR

Join The Arc – Jefferson, Clear Creek & Gilpin Counties and The Arc Arapahoe & Douglas Counties for a new kind of Employment Mixer!

We will be providing a nonformal (no resumes needed), non-job fair (no employer booths),
casual happy hour with delicious pizza and drinks (provided by First Bank and Pasco) made by
the capable, inclusive staff of Brewability, a model for inclusive employment for people with IDD.
There will be a short welcome presentation, followed by eating, drinking, schmoozing, and
breakout sessions.
In each breakout session, attendees (individuals and employers) are given the option of joining a
roundtable to share personal stories on employment or related topics, or joining a discussion
hosted by arc Thrift on the positive outcomes of hiring individuals with I/DD. We’ll finish out our
time together with another opportunity for attendees to speak more directly with each other,
while finishing off the wonderful pizza and drinks.
Who should come:
If you are a person with I/DD who is looking for employment, interested in other employment
opportunities, are currently employed and want to share your success story or just want to mix
and mingle, please register.
