- Civil Rights Education and Enforcement Center – CREEC is a nonprofit membership organization whose goal is to ensure that everyone can fully and independently participate in our nation’s civic life without discrimination based on race, gender, disability, religion, national origin, age, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
- Disability Law Colorado – offers legal representation, information and referrals to people with disabilities, older people, and their families.
- Michael Breeskin (Council for AdvocacyDenver) – attorney for the organization’s Center for Special Education Law.
- Spies, Powers & Robinson [Jack Robinson] – Mr. Robinson has developed a reputation as a strong legal advocate for the rights of children with disabilities. He is a frequent lecturer throughout Colorado on the application and construction of the Individuals With Disabilities Education Act, Section 504 and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.
About Kelly:
Kelly Lawler is responsible for the planning and execution of inclusive social events, both large and small, tailored to the IDD community. She believes in the importance of inclusion in the community and strives to ensure that everyone has a safe and welcoming place in the community to come and be themselves. Her love of work within the nonprofit sector began when she was the Office Manager for the YMCA, participating in over 100 events. She continued her pursuit of community service by founding a business that offered workshops, fitness classes, and individual coaching to people with the desire or need to make healthy changes in their lives.
Kelly has a Degree in Communication as well as certifications in Health Coaching and Wedding/Event Planning.
