The Arc of Arapahoe & Douglas has launched a new blog site!

The Arc Arapahoe & Douglas Counties’ Blog focuses on items of interest to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families and those who serve them in our community and in Colorado.

Blogs, also called weblogs, are thoughts and ideas presented in an online diary format. Our Blogs cover topics like early intervention, transition from early intervention to schools, transition after high school, employment, children’s and adult advocacy, employment, and local, state and federal policies (not sure we want this but threw it in LOL) and sharing of stories.

Have YOUR Say – Our Blogs are written by our staff and board who may be experts in the fields of issues concerning people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in order to provide you, the reader, with a variety of views, news, opinions and resources from various perspectives. We welcome your comments on posts and feedback to help make our blog a great resource for everyone.
