As February ends and March begins, we move from Black History Month into Women’s History Month and Disability Awareness Month—an urgent reminder that the fight for equity is ongoing. This moment calls us not just to reflect on past struggles and victories but to recommit ourselves to the work ahead. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) are not just ideals; they are the foundation of a just and thriving society.
In recognition of this, our Board of Directors has unanimously ratified a Proclamation Affirming Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility. This proclamation is a resolute statement of our unwavering commitment to building an inclusive and equitable world. But a proclamation alone does not create change. Its power lies in the action it inspires, in the voices it unites, and in the collective responsibility it calls upon us to embrace.
This is more than a statement—it is a promise and a challenge. A promise that we will continue to uplift, protect, and advocate for underrepresented communities. A challenge for each of us to do the work: to champion DEIA in our workplaces, our communities, and our daily lives.
The responsibility belongs to all of us. Now is the time to stand up, speak out, and take action.
