Two Way Street Intersects at The Ranch

By Jonah Berger

On Saturday July 23rd, The Two-Way Street Project ventured out once again to explore the community and volunteer to those in need. This time we headed back to the Happy Dog Ranch in Littleton Colorado.

Bernadette Spillane and the Ranch gang were excited to welcome us back. Happy Dog Ranch is an amazing program with a mission to shelter animals of all shapes and sizes that need rescue or a place to slow down. You simply don’t run into people like Bernadette every day. She is hard working, huge-hearted, and simply loves our gang and sharing her time with them.

The Two Way Street crew wasted no time rolling up our sleeves and reminding Bernadette and the rest of the staff how hard we can work. We scooped out the animal stalls, watered and fed them, and hung out with Wilbur the pig!

There were alpacas, llamas, chickens, horses, and goats. Our gang worked really hard and later sat with Bernadette to learn more about the Ranch and ask other questions. We had an awesome day and continued the Two-Way tradition of giving and learning.

Don’t miss our next great adventure this month when we head to the S.A.M.E. Cafe on August 13.  During this outing, we will to learn about homelessness and hunger and what The Two Way Street can do to tackle these issues in our community. Online pokies were able to gain huge popularity due to their simple nature, not to mention their potentially huge payouts.

Please RSVP prior to the event by contacting Kim at [email protected] or calling (720) 457-1032.

Till next time!
